Bulls Break First Layer of Resistance

2:00pm (EST)

The bulls are trying to extend their rally for a third day and have pushed past resistance following the close of the European stock markets.  Trading had been choppy as the market started off in positive territory before dipping into negative territory shortly after the open.

The nervousness is due to the pending news that continues to center around Greece as the leaders of France and Germany are meeting with the country’s top officials to see what they can come up with to avoid a default.

Here at home, Retail Sales lagged expectations which weighed on the Dow and S&P 500 at the open but Tech has been strong for much of the day.  However, all 3 indexes have busted through our short-term targets as the bulls look for more.

The Dow is currently higher by 128 points to 11,234 while the S&P is up by 13 points to 1,186.  The Nasdaq is showing a 34 point pop and is at 2,565 as it looks to challenge the 2,600 level.

We have to cut it short because we have another NEW TRADE for today.  Our current trades have gotten off to a great start and we want to take advantage of the momentum.  Subscribers, check the Members Area for the important trade details.
