BlackBerry (BB, $10.03, down $0.29) Option: BB July 8 calls Expiration Date: July 17th, 2026 Entry Option Price: $0.40 (5/18/2026) Current Option Price: $2.80 (closed half at $1.10 on 5/22) Exit Target: $3.50 (Limit Order on other half) Return: 413% Stop Target: $3, see instructions below (Stop Limit) Action: The Limit Order at $3.50 on the other half of the Alert failed to trip after the calls opened at $3.05 and traded up to $3.20. We said to raise the Stop Limit at $2.10 to $3 if the calls opened above $3 this morning. The adjusted Stop Limit tripped after shares retreated off the opening peak. This locked-in a gain of 413% with average closing price at $2.05 and an entry price of 40 cents. We will keep BB shares on our Watch List as we still think the mid to high teens could come into play at some point down the road. |
