It looks like the market is going to start off slightly lower as the Asian markets fell overnight. The bulls took the Dow higher for the second straight week and will be looking for a big push as we near resistance.
As far as economic news this week, the government will release housing-starts and building-permits data for February on Tuesday, with both expected to post modest declines from January. Housing starts are at an extremely low level and we will need to see some improvement here.
Meanwhile, the Department of Labor will report the February reading of the consumer price index on Thursday.

As we head to press, Dow futures are off 18 points to 10,555 while the S&P 500 futures are lower by 3 to 1,143. The Nasdaq 100 futures are down 4 points to 1.920.
