You should not have any “Stops” entered to close any alerts or “Limit Orders” in your brokerage account unless we list one. We will send out an “Alert” or “New Alert” if we want you to close a position or if a new position comes out. Otherwise, follow instructions at all times in the‬ updates on Monday’s and Thursday’s‬ along with Text Alerts and videos throughout the week.

Special Notice: We could have New Alerts today or Friday with the portfolio light. We wanted to be somewhat flat ahead of Nvidia’s earnings and key economic news to close out the week.

We were able to fit VIAV into the portfolio but we also wanted to make sure of the next possible major market trend before loading up on call or put options. Energy plays a got a little cheaper yesterday and remains one of our favorite sectors this year.

Viavi Solutions (VIAV, $30.85, up $1.72)

Option: VIAV April 35 calls

Expiration Date: April 17th, 2026

Entry Option Price: $0.43 (2/24/2026)

Current Option Price: $1.11

Exit Target: $2.00 (Limit Order on half)

Return: 158%

Stop Target: 55 cents (Stop Limit)

Action: Set an initial Stop Limit at 55 cents to start protecting profits and to avoid a loss. The call option high hit $1.40 and we have an Exit Target at $2 (or more). Set a Limit Order at $2 to close half the Alert.

We would normally have the Stop Limit at 100% return but we want to give this Alert as much stretch as we can and with the bid/ ask a little wide.

Yesterday’s high in the stock tagged $31.42 and we said last Thursday in our notes we have a near-term target of $30-$32.50. If the latter trips by Friday, the Alert should get filled at $2 on half. The return would be at 365%, if tripped. We will then raise the Stop Limit on the other half, afterwards.

Fresh but shaky support is at $30-$29.50 with Tuesday’s peak at $29.67. A drop below $29 likely trips the Stop Limit.
