We normally don’t “double-up” on an Alert with two plays but we like the volume that has been flowing in both call options. We have also had an incredible year, and with Wednesday’s big wins, we felt like being aggressive in a biotech play.

This stock had heavy volume last Friday and was on the tv ticker throughout the day. We did some weekend research and the company is developing a proprietary oral delivery technology intended to enable drugs that are injected, to instead be taken orally. This could mean NO MORE SHOTS for many drugs.

Rani Therapeutics had no revenue until this year snd become a public company in late July 2021. It’s first day, shares closed at $11. The all-time high hit $36.27 on 11/15/21 and was up 50% on Friday. A golden-cross
Is in play. If $4 clears, there is gap up potential to $6-$7.

Late September and lower resistance at $15.75-$16 was topped but held following the intraday surge to $15.85. Closes above the latter would be an ongoing bullish signal for upside towards $17-$17.50 with the May 20th peak at $17.15. Support is at $15.25-$15.

Earnings were better-than-expected and helped fuel the 23% pop.

Action: Key resistance at $20 and the 50-day moving average were recovered on the rebound to $20.43. A close above $21.25 would be a more bullish development for strength up to $23.50. Support is at $19.25-$19.

Earnings were better-than-expected but revenue was a tad light.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA, $24.60, up $4.14)

Hertz Global Holdings (HTZ, $6.68, down $0.06)

Current Option Price: $0.40
Exit Target: $1.30 (Limit Order)
Return: -38%
Stop Target: None

Action: Set a Limit Order to close at $1.30 in case we get another surge in the stock up to $7.50-$8.50.

Yesterday’s low kissed $5.62 with shaky support at $5.75-$5.50 getting tripped but holding. Mid-September resistance is at $7-$7.25.

There was a massive short-squeeze like we predicted after earnings and we said the technical setup was also improving with the 50-day moving average leveling out. Wednesday’s ongoing volatility is the current short covering battle.
