The numbers from Thursday won’t matter much this morning but let’s go over them anyway.
The Dow added 93 points, or 0.7%, to finish at 12,719. The index traded up to 12,753 and the next area of resistance is at 12,800 which, if cleared, could get 13,000 into play. Support is at 12,600 then 12,350.
The S&P 500 gained 14 points, or 1.1%, to settle 1,353 and easily passed resistance which was at 1,350. The next level of resistance is at 1,375 while support will come in at 1,325 and then 1,300.
The Nasdaq surged 39 points, or 1.4%, and close at 2,872. Tech traded to a high of 2,878 and surpassed our 2,850 near-term target. Resistance is at 2,875 with support coming in at 2,850 and then 2,800.
The good news is we have some put options that should do well today.
